| Restarting lpd on Red Hat 8.0 no entry in /etc/printcap |
Hi all, I installed and configured Apsfilter on Red Hat 8.0 for an Epson Stylus 740 Color printer.
I check my /etc/printcap file to see the apsfilter printer listed.
However, every time I restart lpd,
# /etc/rc.d/init.d/lpd restart
the entry in the /etc/printcap file is gone. In fact, there are NO entries.
Help! I chose to overwrite the /etc/printcap file when I was running through SETUP could that be the problem?
Thanks.
