Where is "raw"

Hi 

We have a Postscript printer configured with apsfilter.

It is connected remotely via Samba to a Windows machine. From the
Windows driver we can do things such as position the catridge to
change it. When the raw data is sent to the printer from the 
driver, nothing happens. 

In good old days a "raw" device existed to send data directly to
the printer. Now everything goes through the "lp" default device.

How can we send raw data to the printer?
