As the documentation, which comes with HPIJS, tells you that you can yield up to 600 dpi. You have to use the HiRes mode (Quality = 3) to get 1200 dpi. I've attached a small shell script which converts Postscript to the DJ970 code using Ghostscript. You will see that you'll the error message: unable to SetPixelsPerRow width=9601, err=26 if you try to get 1200 dpi with Quality=2. Have a try! Your "best output you've ever seen" might come from scaling by factor two, or an enhanced algorithm in the new HPIJS. > Antoine Regards, Carsten -- Certify your minority, support spyware!
