No, I do have 1200x1200 if I use the command line and I use the HiRes mode !!! 
:
gs -sDEVICE=ijs -sIjsServer=hpijs -dIjsUseOutputFD 
-sDeviceManufacturer="HEWLETT-PACKARD" -sDeviceModel="DESKJET 970" 
-r1200x1200 -sPAPERSIZE=a4 
-sIjsParams="Quality:Quality=3,Quality:ColorMode=2,Quality:MediaType=2,Quality:PenSet=2,Quality:FullBleed=1".......

But with apsfilter, this is not possible.
